Frequently Asked Questions for Individual Investors

How do I obtain online access to my ICON account?
The ICON website offers investors secure access to their accounts in both the ICON Funds and the Mutual Fund Allocation Portfolios 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can view information about your accounts, including transaction history, gain/loss summary, portfolio composition, and assets, as of the last business day's close. You can log in at any time by clicking on the Access Your Account link at the top of every page.

Account balances and transactions that you view today reflect activity from the prior business day.

It’s simple to set up your log-in credentials. Click here to get online account access. On the Sign Up page, enter the following information in the fields requested:

  • Your Full Name and E-mail Address. Enter your name exactly as it is registered on your account. We do not use your e-mail address for any purpose other than account access.
  • Your Tax ID Number (Social Security Number or Employer Identification Number). It is not necessary to include spaces or dashes.
  • Your Account Number (can be either a Portfolio or ICON Fund account). ICON Fund account numbers need to be 11 digits in length (add zeroes at the beginning as needed to reach 11 digits), and ICON Allocation Portfolio account numbers are six digits in length. Account numbers may be found on your account statement.

A User ID and Password that You Create. ICON allows you to create your own Username and Password for the website using at least six numbers and/or letters. We advise selecting something familiar and memorable.

What should I do if I forget my Username or Password?
ICON can help if you forget your website Username or Password or are locked out for security reasons. Just call 1-800-764-0442 and a representative can provide your Username. Although ICON does not store website passwords for security reasons, we have the ability to reset your Password so you can create a new one.

What if I have trouble setting up my account access?
You may be unable to set up your log-in credentials for several reasons. These include:

  • You May Be Incorrectly Entering Your Social Security Number or Account Number. Be sure that your Social Security Number correlates correctly to the account number you enter.
  • You Have Not Designated or Have Incorrectly Designated SSN or EIN Option. Please designate on the Sign Up for Account Access page whether the number you are entering is a Social Security Number (SSN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN).
  • You Need to Enter 11 Digits for an ICON Funds Account Number and six digits for an ICON Portfolio Account Number. If your ICON Fund account number is less than 11 digits, simply enter zeroes at the beginning to reach 11 characters.

Can I access my account statements online?
The ICON website does not currently provide access to ICON Funds account statements, however if you have an ICON Allocation Portfolio, you may establish convenient online access to view electronic statements through Trust Company of America. Simply visit the custodian’s website to sign up to suppress paper statements and receive monthly statements electronically.
