The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) now requires that at least 75% of a
mutual fund's board be independent, meaning they have no financial relationship
with the fund's adviser. Since 2002, ICON has been a leader in the industry, with five of the Funds’
trustees being independent and Craig Callahan, ICON Founder and President, being
the sixth and only non-independent trustee.
